Class Experience

Words are powerful! So is gratitude. Letting friends or family know what they mean to you can be an amazing act of kindness. Your words have power and you have the power to make someone’s day better. 

In this one-time class, students will learn how to make a ‘Thank You’ card. We’ll begin by saying hello and then, sharing about something kind someone has once said to you. We’ll discuss the power of kind words and how they can lift others up. By saying something kind, we encourage kindness to...

*Pencil
*Colored pencils, markers, or crayons
*Construction paper
**Optional: scissors, glue, glitter, stickers, jewels, sequins, scrapbooking paper

30 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.

If your learner will be working with scissors, glue, glitter, etc- parental guidance is recommended.

I will have a model card that I will be recreating. I will be using tools like scissors and glue, but learners will be encouraged to explore their creative freedom and do what they would like for their card cover.
