Class Experience

In this one-time class, we will focus on writing super sentences. We will first build sentences together focusing on the who, what, where, when or why of the sentence. I will model writing sentences from the learner’s suggestions. We will also focus on: the elements of a sentence, capitalization, and ending punctuation. Learners will learn how to stretch their simple sentences by adding adjectives, adverbs, and descriptive details. Learners can choose to illustrate a picture of the “who” or...

This class is taught in English.

- paper or a whiteboard (to write your sentences)
- pencil, pen, or whiteboard marker (to write your sentences)

Optional:
- coloring utensils in order to draw and illustrate a picture to go along with your sentences

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
