Class Experience

In this class there will be outside work required. This class will be fast-paced and rigorous which will make outside work necessary.  No more than 60 minutes of homework per week anticipated. 
Students will need a computer/laptop, strong internet connection, writing journal/notebook, and pencils! Students will also need to have good computer skills as well as to be able to access Google Classroom.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Formative Assessments: Students will have a formative assessment before the end of the second class each week. This will be for a letter grade that will be shared privately with each student. Grades for this will be returned to students no later than 24 hours before the next class. 

Summative Assessments: There will be two summative assessments which will be student final compositions for the Expository and Story. Both compositions will be graded with a rubric. 
**Hard due dates for these assessments will be shared on the Classroom Newsfeed as well as on Google Classroom. 
1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
This class will utilize Google Classroom for assignments.
