What will be taught? This class is designed to improve essential writing skills, including: Grammar and Syntax: Strengthening sentence structure, punctuation, and word choice. Essay Writing: Crafting clear and well-structured essays with a strong thesis, introduction, and conclusion. Creative Writing: Developing story ideas, characters, and descriptive techniques for creative projects. Editing and Revising: Learning strategies to refine and polish writing for clarity and impact. Writing Confidence: Building the confidence to express ideas clearly and effectively. Class Structure: Each session is customized to the student’s needs and goals, starting with a brief assessment to identify areas of focus. Lessons will include targeted exercises, collaborative writing tasks, and discussion about techniques to enhance their work. Students will receive actionable feedback after each session. Teaching Style: This class is highly interactive and supportive, encouraging active participation. I use creative methods to make lessons engaging and provide constructive feedback to help learners see their progress. Interaction and Engagement: Students will actively participate in writing exercises, discussions, and feedback sessions. Each class will end with a summary of what was learned and goals for the next session.
