In this engaging writing practice class, students will complete a variety of fun and interactive exercises designed to improve their writing skills. Using fun worksheets and lined writing paper, we’ll practice handwriting, identify sentence types, combine and fix sentences, and apply the correct punctuation and capitalization. We’ll also introduce fundamental grammar concepts and parts of speech, such as nouns, verbs, adjectives, possessive pronouns, homophones, prepositions, conjunctions, reflexive pronouns, subordinating conjunctions, and more! These language building blocks are essential for constructing clear sentences and expressing ideas effectively.

This is a fun class with lots of opportunity for interaction, engagement and discussion. Parents will receive downloadable PDFs to print, which include fun word, sentence, and grammar activities, along with lined writing paper. Students will follow along and practice using engaging worksheets while I explain and demonstrate each exercise on the screen using fun and engaging slides. At the end of each session, students can proudly share their work by holding it up to the camera for feedback and encouragement.
