Description
Class Experience
Learners will demonstrate an increase of understanding of the writing process and skills in individual written work.
I worked with children in various settings with a dual certification (birth-8th). I am now retired bringing my skills set to online learning. My certification allowed me to work with children in general education and special education with auxiliary credits in Reading. My primary degrees are English (BA) and Early Childhood Special Education (MA). I am extremely language based with additional degrees in Speech Pathology and Audiology and Child Development with concentrations in literacy, linguistics and language. I enjoy working with learners who are reluctant, struggling, or proficient at current level and ready to extend a skill.
Learners are encouraged to practice and apply skills taught in tutoring sessions in order to consistently progress in his or her written works outside of tutoring sessions.
