This lesson helps students practice their writing skills using compare and contrast.

Students will review what this means and examples of them being used in sentences.

The teacher will then provide sentence frames for students to create their own comparison sentences with support. 

As the class progresses, students will be encouraged to expand upon their sentences to improve them and make them more interesting. The teacher will model how to do this.
