My background in Child Development/Early Childhood Education gives me a solid framework for creating developmentally appropriate activities for younger children. I am also TESOL certified and have had over 20 years of combined classroom and homeschool experience working with younger children and sharing my love of reading great literature with them!
Most weeks, learners will need to bring paper, crayons, and a pencil to class. On some weeks, I will also provide an activity page to printed and brought to class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Our music and movement time is typically very low-key and lasts only a few minutes, but please remain close by students during this time to properly supervise them. Be sure they are wearing proper footwear and have an open workspace (devoid of tripping hazards) so that they can follow along with our movements. We will likely stretch ahead of time.
