Description
Class Experience
In my multi-day class, learners will be learning proper writing formation using a variety of fun, hands-on, multi-sensory strategies. Each class will start with greeting all learners, identifying the letter or number that we will focus on writing. Learners will practice strokes, letters, and numerals in various ways such as air writing, playdoh, writing (using a whiteboard or paper). I will use specific language to form the letters based off of Handwriting Without Tears as I have used this...
Learners will be exposed to proper formation of upper and lower case letters.
Please bring at least 2 of the following to class everyday: -crayons broken in half (this helps with proper writing grasp) -hair gel bag with a few drops of food coloring -shaving cream -sand -sand tray/cookie sheet -playdoh
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
