Students will improve their writing skills using the 6+ Traits of Writing, which includes: Ideas, Voice, Organization, Sentence Fluency, Conventions, Word Choice, and Presentation. Students will create and maintain a writer's notebook.
The homework will include: making lists of ideas, writing rough drafts, making revisions, and submitting final drafts for assessment.
Art supplies: colored pencils and colored pens, markers, watercolors, lined paper, and colored paper. 1 three-ring notebook(with a clear pocket on the front) + dividers (8 tabs), 3 hole punch. Regular pencils and pens. I will also supply handouts via Google Classroiom
