I am a Colorado-certified K-6 teacher, who has been teaching for over 20 years. I have taught in a variety of settings, including public schools, a micro-school, and in homeschool settings.
Homework is not assigned, but at the end of each class students they will have their own codes that they can use at home for their own messages.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I am always assessing student understandings informally throughout discussion and participation in the class.
3 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
