In this class we will first discuss  the importance of using interesting words in our writing.  We will practice by changing simple sentences into exciting sentences by substituting  descriptive adjectives for common adjectives. We will talk about how specific words keep the reader engaged and provide a more detailed picture of what the writer intends to convey.   All of my classes are fun and casual to encourage participation.  I tailor each class to the level of the student present.  This is a private lesson, so your child will have my undivided attention.   This is a stand alone class and no previous knowledge is required, as long as the child is reading and writing at grade level.
