This class will have videos, slides, and outlines to guide students through the writing process. Students will have two week to write their essays and the teacher will provide feedback throughout the 8 week course. Concepts such as claim, evidence and writing processes will be discussed throughout our coursework. Teacher is flexible and will allow students to do work on other interests. The class will focus on setting up the paper through the outline process and then students will take the outline on their own to write a quality paper. Writing outside of class time will likely be required to complete all of the papers. Feedback will be given to students.

students will read the short story Priscilla and the Wimps by Richard Peck (or another short story of their choosing) and begin to develop their literary analysis.
