Writing for Kids Who Hate to Write- Sloths

Students will use the IEW note-taking method to write a paragraph about sloths. I can't make your child love writing in 50 minutes, but I can give them a boost of confidence and a burst of information.

Class Experience

Students will learn to identify key words in a sentence, take notes from an informative piece, and then write a paragraph from their own notes.
No homework!  Yay!  At the end of class, students will have a well-written paragraph to read aloud.
 2 files available upon enrollment
Lined paper Pen Print 2 pages I will send you before class
Students will have a completed paragraph to read to a parent.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
