Class Experience
Students will take notes from a short, informative paragraph and then rewrite it in their own words. Students should know how to copy words from a paragraph. They should be able to read at a third grade level and write on lined paper. They should be able to form sentences and write them by hand. Students will learn to identify key words in a sentence. They will learn to take notes from an informative piece and then write from their own notes.
No homework! Yay! At the end of class, students will have a well-written paragraph to read aloud.
