Description
Class Experience
This is a small group (up to three learners only) four-pack horse-themed class that explores four different types of writing. NOTE: I also have two ongoing classes called Writing for Horse-Lovers: Discuss Horses & Develop Paragraph Writing Skills and Creative Writing for Horse-Lovers: Enjoy Descriptive Writing & Discussing Horses running at this time. Every student has the ability to improve their writing skills if they practice; however, often students are not motivated to write because...
Students will learn about horses as well as different types of writing styles and formats. They will learn how to create rough work in order to create stronger written pieces while fostering a love of writing.
I am a certified and experienced English teacher and I have owned and ridden horses most of my life. Before becoming a teacher, I worked as an equestrian coach.
There is no homework assigned for this class; however, students are welcome to work on their writing outside of class time.
4 files available upon enrollmentHandouts will be provided for each class and should be printed and ready for the start of class. Students will also need a pen or pencil. It is recommended that students use a folder with pockets to keep all of their work organized for the final class.
Students are provided with verbal feedback throughout the class.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
