In this ongoing writing class, the student will learn how to write sentences to form a paragraph using their favorite Pokémon characters. We will begin by brainstorming about which Pokemon characters to write about. From here the student will turn their ideas into sentences to form a paragraph. The student will need to be able to write independently and will have the option of writing their own paragraph or using the class for ideas. We will focus on sentence structure and punctuation as well as proper grammar. This class is ideal for independent writers as well as those writers that struggle since I use guided writing as a helping tool. I look forward to working with your learner.

Hi! My name is Ana. I have been teaching for over 10 years. I enjoy building strong relationships with my students which I believe will help them in their learning process. My teaching follows an "I do, we do, you do" model where the children are able to see me model the activity, we practice it together to build confidence, and then have a chance to apply their learnings themselves.
