Class Experience

Students will learn how to write a descriptive paragraph. Students will use a simple formula that will lead them in the formation of a complete paragraph.  To effectively complete this course, student should have prior knowledge about adjectives, compound sentences, complex sentences, sensory words and figurative language. Students will learn how to write a descriptive paragraph. Students will learn how to enhance their writing with sensory details and figurative language.

Sometimes students struggle with writing detailed descriptive paragraphs.  I have been intensively trained in the writing process.  Students have experienced success on writing assessments by using a few simple steps.

Paper and writing instrument for notes - optional

 At the end of class, the student will be required to submit the written descriptive paragraph via the Outschool platform.  The teacher will review the paragraph and provide feedback.

55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
