Razzle Dazzle Writing Course (Ages 7-9) In this 10-week creative writing course students will develop their writing skills when they learn about (1) the writing process, (2) purpose of writing, and (3) strategies to help them organize and develop their writing skills. Students will: • Explain and write opinion pieces on topics or texts, supporting a point of view with reasons and information • Explain and write informative/explanatory texts to examine and convey ideas and information clearly • Explain and write narratives to develop real or imagined experiences or events using effective technique, descriptive details, and clear event sequences. • Produce clear and coherent writing in which the development and organization are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience.
I am a certified elementary teacher with a Masters Degree in Teaching. I love to teacher students grades Pre- Kinder through fifth grade. I am looking forward to getting to know you and your student.
Students will have up to 1 hour of homework per week to develop their writing.

Students will receive teacher feedback for each writing. Parents and students may contact me through Outschool portal at anytime.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parent assistance should be minimal.
