Class Experience
Students will: • Explain and write opinion pieces on topics or texts, supporting a point of view with reasons and information • Explain and write informative/explanatory texts to examine and convey ideas and information clearly • Explain and write narratives to develop real or imagined experiences or events using effective technique, descriptive details, and clear event sequences. • Produce clear and coherent writing in which the development and organization are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience.
I am a certified elementary teacher with a Masters Degree in Teaching. I love to teacher students grades Pre- Kinder through fifth grade. I am looking forward to getting to know you and your student.
Students will have up to 1 hour of homework per week to develop their writing.
Writing Paper Writing Journal Pencils Crayons or colored pencils Glue Stick Scissors
Students will receive teacher feedback for each writing. Parents and students may contact me through Outschool portal at anytime.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parent assistance should be minimal.
Students should have writing paper, writing journal, pencils, crayons, glue and scissors.
