Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 4
This class is for young writers needing to learn the skills to write in complete sentences and leave sentence fragments behind. Using an engaging slide show I present by sharing my screen, we will learn and practice this new writing skill through group activities, discussion, hands-on practice, and thoughtfully designed practice pages. Students will learn the difference between sentence fragments and complete sentences as we cover capital letters, punctuation, subjects, predicates, and sentence structure. If your student needs extra support in any of these areas, then this one time class is for them! Students will each be encouraged to participate and share their ideas as we learn to write in complete sentences together with plenty of support and practice. This is a warm, fun, supportive environment where reluctant writers can learn with confidence. Come write with me!
