Description

Class Experience

In this one time, skill based class, the basic rules of writing will be discussed.  We talk about the 3 general writing rules I use in my own classroom as well as what a sentence and a paragraph must contain.  I then show a basic paragraph.  We discuss if it meets the rules we have established.  I then take that basic paragraph and show the students how to improve it by adding detail, eliminating redundancy, improving word choice, and adding some transition words.  The students are not...

A summary sheet will be posted in the classroom.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
