*Personal Narrative - story
*Opinion

*Friendly Letter

Each genre will consist of three sessions. Each session will be teacher guided and will go as follows:

Second Session: Students will turn their outline into a rough draft

Class 1 will be for J.O.T.T.ing (outlining) and Class 2 will be for the rough draft. Students will be encouraged then to submit their writing pieces so that the editing and revising can take place and feedback is provided for the student.

Prior to each writing genre, students will be asked to think of a specific topic to focus on during our time together.

In each class, the teacher will be writing right alongside the students, guiding them every step of the way!

Your child will LEARN TO LOVE TO WRITE in this course!

They will go from MEH to YAY!

I hope to see you there!
