Students will learn how to write a strong expository paragraph.

This course introduces students to writing a strong expository paragraph. I will introduce students to the steps of writing an expository paragraph through a PowerPoint. As a group, we will talk about the reasons a person would need to write an expository paragraph. We will then work on writing an expository paragraph together as a group. The goal is for students to understand what an expository paragraph is and to write their own expository paragraph.
Homework Offered
During the class, students will get started on writing their own expository paragraph. Homework will consist of students finishing writing that expository paragraph. They will turn their paragraph into me. I will provide feedback and areas that they can improve on in their paragraph. They will have the option to turn the corrected paragraph back to me for final feedback.Assessments Offered
