Do you want to learn how to answer short response questions easily? This one time 45 minute class is a great introduction or refresher to a simple method called the RACE strategy. The foundation for writing an essay begins with learning how to answer short response questions in paragraph form. The standards for this lesson are for 3rd-6th grade. However, older students need a refresher lesson sometimes. Students will answer arguments to support claims with clear reasons and relevant evidence organized in paragraph form.
I have been teaching ELA including Writing for over 24 years to Elementary and Middle Grade students.
