Description

Class Experience

Students will learn the different parts of a paragraph, be able to identify the different parts in written paragraphs, and be able to write cohesive, topical, and smooth paragraphs independently.
I have a Masters degree in Education from the University of South Florida. I have been working with students for decades. I have had experience teaching in the classroom from pre-school to high school. The majority of my classroom experience was spent in 2nd and 3rd grades. I have my ESOL certificate and have taught English to non-English speakers on line for several years. I teach reading, writing, language arts, social skills, and public speaking classes on line as well. I am a passionate, energetic educator that loves to inspire students to confidence, growth, and mastery.
Students will complete unfinished paragraphs at home that they were unable to finish during class time. Students may also be assigned practice pages at home to reinforce what we are learning in class.
Worksheets and materials for the week will be posted to the classroom before the start of the week. Please check the classroom for links to download worksheets and materials to gather. Students will need paper, pencil and a good attitude each day. Some additional supplies may include scissors, glue, and something to draw with like crayons or colored pencils.
2 hours 45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Some of the worksheets provided require the use of scissors during class. Please be prepared to assist or supervise your child as needed.

I share my screen with students to display a slide show. They will not need to access any additional resources.

All worksheets for lessons will be attached in the classroom prior to the week’s classes. Please check the classroom and print necessary materials as you are able. If you are not able to print, students will do modified activities on their own paper.
