During this time of the year, one of the most important tasks that young people complete is writing a friendly and effective letter to Santa Claus. In doing so, they must be respectful, gracious, and clear in expressing their desires to this most famous and beloved gift-giver. Otherwise, Christmas morning may only offer a bag of sticks and coal. This class is taught in English.
Students will practice and learn the basic parts of a friendly letter (heading, salutation, body, closing, and signature), and will learn the art of persuasion through writing a letter to Santa Claus. With this understanding and product, he/she will have the knowledge needed to create a Christmas memory through the writing of this letter.
I absolutely love to write and share the joy of writing, and I've taught writing for several years; including preparation for state writing exams. I understand that this subject isn't everyone's cup of tea, so I am beyond happy to share some ways to bring your words to the surface. Oftentimes, it's just a matter of sorting out what's happening in your brain and getting it to come out in the right order. I'm here for you!
