Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 4
This class is designed as a mini-writer's workshop where students will develop their writing skills by brainstorming ideas, writing, editing, and revising their stories. Students can choose from creative prompts or explore their own ideas each week. The focus is on enhancing their technical writing abilities, including grammar, word choice, and story structure, while boosting confidence in their writing.

Each session includes a brief mini-lesson on a key writing skill, followed by dedicated writing time to apply what they've learned. Students are encouraged to share their work, but sharing is optional. This class is perfect for students who have completed a beginning writers workshop and are ready to dive deeper into the writing process, practicing higher-level writing skills. Each class offers a new theme or set of prompts, so students can join multiple times to improve their writing while exploring new ideas.
