In this ongoing Author's Club, writers will unite under the umbrella of expertise from a Published Author! Building a community and networking is one of the most important aspects of being a writer. This social club and course will help young authors to develop these vital networking skills. Together students will receive one-to-one help and feedback on their current book projects, and expand their creative writing skills. All while getting to talk with and socialize with other young writers! Weekly lesson plan and session topics will be learner-directed, and learner-specific from week to week; additionally, class will be discussion based, social-group based, and include topics such as : networking, marketing, brainstorming, the writing process, characterization, building worlds, setting, publishing, writing goals, writing schedules, and much more. Teaching style is very kind, accepting, and enthusiastic!
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to network effectively, set writing goals, and learn new creative writing concepts while working on socialization.
