This narrative text/creative story writing class is fun and relevant for standarized test takers. Students are entertained while they gather the necessary information needed to be a great writer. Creative writing is introduced through the art/drawing process. Students learn vocabulary, format and process to create a great creative writing story/essay! At the end of this class students will: • Create a prewrite to enhance writing; • Create a 4 paragraph creative story; • Learn the vocabulary necessary for effective story writing.

Supply List
A writing template is provided for the student's use. Students need pencil, blank paper and lined writing paper.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
