50 mins in-class hours per weekClass Experience
Are you writing a book? A graphic novel, a poem, a song, maybe a screen play? An essay or homework assignment? This is your place to write! We will begin with a discussion of what we're working on, set goals for the session, and then quietly write. If you get stuck, need help thinking of a word, aren't sure how to phrase something, or need feedback and encouragement--hop onto the chat, and an expert writing teacher will be there to help! We'll close out with check-ins to celebrate progress towards goals and troubleshoot problems. Anyone who wishes to may share their writing with the class. We will celebrate, encourage, and support each writer. Come write! Session topics will be directed by the goals students set at the beginning of each class, with mini-lessons on specific writing skills (examples: plotting, characterization, revision, preparing for publication, dialogue...) provided as requested!
