Description

Class Experience

Gain insight from a former Awards judge (and teacher/mentor to past winners) about how to:
- navigate the process of submitting to the annual Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.
- polish works in progress according to judging guidelines
- ask for feedback and critiques that help push you forward in your work
- determine the best category for submission

In addition, I served as a contest judge for the Scholastic Writing Awards from 2012-2014, so I am very familiar with the judging criteria. I am currently certified to teach English Language Arts and Reading for grades 7-12.
