Class Experience

Director, Michelle Pelletier has taught and/ or directed at American Conservatory Theatre (ACT) in San Francisco, the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, California Theatre Center in Alaska, Sonoma County Repertory, Santa Clara University, The Vallejo Ballet Conservatory, Sonoma Ballet Conservatory, West County Theatre Arts Guild, and Sonoma Charter School. Michelle is a graduate of American Conservatory Theatre and Tamalpa Institute. Her acting resume includes theatre and television. Michelle was the Founding Director of the Creation Conservatory which won a 2001 Bohemian award: “Best place to let your kids expressive your creative self.”  She performed in 2 play world premiers. She produces the Santa Fe Story Slam and teaches / directors local participants. 
Students are encouraged to continue to write their play in between classes.Our class is an active class full of writing and feedback. There are many opportunities to bring your plate to class and to learn from each other’s plays and Upload their play in process to the class page. There is private reading / feedback time built in to the class fee. This helps students in larger classes stay on task and receive the validation they need to move forward. 
Writing materials
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Your student will need pen and paper or a computer to write on and a writing folder for pdf's sent to the classroom page. 

Please have your student in a quiet room where they can focus. And check they classroom page for feedback, exercises or uploads.
