Class Experience
This fun, interactive class will be broken up into five different days as follows: Day 1: Example story from the teacher -can you solve my mystery? Day 2: Outline of student's mysteries Day 3: Rough Drafts Day 4: Revising and Editing Day 5: Sharing Throughout the week, students will interact with the teacher, turning in their work and receiving feedback through each step of their stories. We will not only discuss what can make a good mystery story, but also what makes a good storyline in...
Students will learn how to utilize an outline, create more succinct stories, and develop a mystery story plot line.
Students will be assigned homework based on how much they complete in class -anything not completed during the class should be finished before the following day.
A computer or tablet for writing.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
4 hours 35 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
