US Grade 7
In this course, students learn how to better communicate their ideas in writing. After reviewing parts of speech and sentence structure, learners dive into writing different types of paragraphs, letter writing, descriptive writing, historical research activities, before ending the course with a literary analysis essay and a compare/contrast essay. The lessons include videos, guided notes, Blooket, online games, and practice activities. For the writing assignments, students get step-by-step instructions, graphic organizers, topic choices and more. Throughout the course students will submit writing assignments for teacher feedback. The instructor will send progress reports on Fridays if work has been completed.
