Day #1: What is a poem? Brainstorming for how to write one. Class creates a poem together (Acrostic). Individual writing time to write autobiographical, cinquain and color poems. ACROSTIC: In Acrostic poems, the first letters of each line are aligned vertically to form a word. The word often is the subject of the poem. An example is- Incredible knowing Night time wake up!
