Writing an effective conclusion to an essay is one of the most difficult tasks students face. In this class, we will discuss what a conclusion should accomplish and more importantly, how to do that. We will analyze an example of a good conclusions and one example of a poor conclusion. A step by step method how to write a conclusion will also be taught. Common mistakes that learners make will be pointed out and explained. A detailed summary sheet of everything we talk about in the class will be posted in the classroom so the learner can see step by step how to formulate their next conclusion. I teach in a relaxed manner. A basic reading level is required to get the full benefit from this class. This class is not appropriate for learners younger than 11. Class Rules: We mute so we do not talk over each other, we are kind and respectful to everyone, and we raise our hand if we have a comment or question.
