Students will begin by introducing themselves and sharing something special about their Grandma. The teacher will read the story "What Not to Give Your Mom on Mother's Day." Not a bucket of big, fat worms...unless she is a bird. Not a mud puddle, unless she is a pig. But, there is something a little boy could give her. What do you think it is? After the story, the students will discuss their favorite part of the story. Next, students will write a book for their Grandma. If time allows, they...

Students may choose to finish coloring their pictures at home.
