Class experience
This interactive hands on class is for kids who love Wreck It Ralph. We will start the class by taking an imaginary trip to Litwak's Arcade. We will discuss some of the different games featured in the movie, recap the story by acting out a scene, and play our own version of Fix-It Felix Jr., (using blocks). We will make some pixel art of Felix's Golden Hammer, design a race track for Sugar Rush, and color our own Hero Medal. If there is time, we will make I AM Poems around the quote "There's...
I am currently a preschool teacher. I have taught elementary school in the past. I direct a children's theater group. I tend to be an energetic person who works to provide a supportive atmosphere for student's to exercise their creativity.
Please bring paper and any kind of drawing utensils, (crayons, markers, colored pencils, etc.) Children should bring any kind of blocks to build with, or they could stack paper/plastic cups. Please have class in a space where building with blocks is possible, (i.e., have a bit of floor space available).
