Would You Rather...? a Writing and Presenting Class for Beginning Writers!
In this one time class, beginning writers will explore the prompt "Would you rather _____ or _____?" The prompt will generate different view points before students have time to write OR draw their ideas and present to the group.

SUMMER SPECIAL: NOW $8 PER LEARNER (Was $14) In this 45 minute session we will explore a few prompts of "Would you rather (this) or (this)?" and share ideas about which option is better. After some discussion we will turn our attention to how to get our point across and how to present their ideas. Learners will explore some of the techniques and language used in persuasive writing as a whole group before getting a chance to write their own ideas independently using the prompt as the stimulus. Participants will get a chance to practice their oral presentation before sharing their ideas with the group. Who will change someone's mind with their clever writing and presentation? I can't wait to help you put your ideas together in this fun and interactive class. This is a 45 minute session, designed for children who are just getting started with writing! Younger children who are independent writers can join my "Would You Rather...?" class for 6-9 year olds. Older students can join my class "Would you Rather...? class for 10-13 year olds". Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or want advice on which class is right for your learner!

Students will utilise Google Slides or Google Docs to form their argument so they will need a free google account to do so. Students without access to a google account can use paper and pen.
