Would You Rather...? a Fun and Interactive Writing and Presenting Class!

In this 45 minute session we will explore a few prompts of "Would you rather (this) or (this)?" and share ideas about which option is better. After some discussion we will turn our attention to how to get our point across and how to present their ideas. Learners will explore some of the techniques and language used in persuasive writing as a whole group before getting a chance to write their own ideas independently using the prompt as the stimulus. 

Participants will get a chance to practice their oral presentation before sharing their ideas with the group. Who will change someone's mind with their clever writing and presentation? I can't wait to help you put your ideas together in this fun and interactive class. 

This is a 45 minute session, which includes some independent writing time. Younger children who are independent writers can join my "Would You Rather...?" class for 6-9 year olds. Children who are beginning writers or in the pre-writing stage can join my class "Would you Rather...? A Fun Class for Beginning Writers".
