Parental Guidance
The aim of this class is to offer educational activities to help students what anger is and what strategies they can use to manage their worry. This class is not a therapeutic group.
There is no intention of the class to elicit reports on personal experiences with mental health from learners. If a learner shares any personal mental health details (despite not being prompted to do so) , I will ask that the learner refrain from further discussion in front of the class and instead continue the conversation with a trusted adult.
If a learner shares something that is concerning, I may need to reach out to parents after class depending on the context.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
