In this class, students will learn how death is seen in various countries across various religions. This includes a brief review of the traditions that take place when someone dies along with the beliefs that they hold relating to death and beyond. Please note this is not a religious class so we will not discuss specifics about religion and is not meant to debate the topics discussed. We will discuss death so parental discretion is advised. This includes talking about different ways corpses are treated and beliefs from various cultures and religious perspectives. Only mature students comfortable learning about this topic are encouraged to participate in this class.
