Have you ever found yourself reading a fantasy fiction novel and noticing aspects of the world within it that you really liked? Perhaps, you thought that you would change some of the aspects to things that were more appealing and fascinating to you. In this class, you get to make all of these decisions yourself! We're going to consider the following possibilities, as we step through this process: * What look does your world have? Is it bleak or filled with bright colors? Does it look like...
Students will learn the components of building worlds in fantasy fiction, and become more confident in their ability to write within this unique genre.
I've taught reading and writing to multiple ages for several years, and I also have served as an instructional coach. I absolutely love to write and share the joy of writing, and I've taught writing for several years. I understand that writing isn't everyone's cup of tea, so I am beyond happy to share some ways to bring your words to the surface. Oftentimes, it's just a matter of sorting out what's happening in your brain and getting it to come out in the right order. I'm here for you!
