Class Experience

Students will learn about the diverse wildlife of Indonesia, and explore the interesting habitats of these animals. We'll talk about endangered species and conservation efforts, sparking student interest in these topics.
I have a bachelors degree in Environmental Science & Policy from Florida State University. I studied tropical ecology and wildlife biology as a part of my studies. I am fascinated by Indonesia, having spent half a year on Bali and Lombok in 2017. I'm excited to be sharing the wonders of this amazing land with my students!
There will be no homework for this course, however, bonus material will be provided to support students in furthering their knowledge after our meeting has ended.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learners are assessed by informal assessment. Students who show understanding of the course content, remain engaged, participate in class discussions, and ask questions will be assessed to have successfully completed the course.

If your learner has special assessment requirements please reach out before the start of the course. We are happy to work with the needs of parents, organizers, charter schools, and homeschooling programs.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
