Class Experience

Welcome to the Shadowlands Social Club! Come on in and meet some new friends in World of Warcraft!

This club is for pre-teens or anyone that wants to be in a gaming social club with a strict language code. This class is new, there is another social club if you are looking for a class for older teens or more mature and free language.

This is an ongoing club meant for learners to discuss and engage in regards to any and all things WOW! I will be the facilitator to keep the class a safe and encouraging environment for all learners. Although I have been and continue to be an active player in WOW this class will not be about me teaching gameplay, this is a player-driven forum for players to meet other players and connect on the love of the game. Learners will be encouraged to discuss the topics and aspects of the game with the other learners and there will be a 2 learner minimum in order for the class to be held. In this club, we can explore the pre-patch together, the Shadowlands expansion, and even give advice on raids, dungeons, battle pets, and mounts. I have even heard tales of secret quests off the grid of the norm that players can achieve. Please note there is no pressure to lead discussions, if you are a player that is here to listen and learn that is excellent too!

So gear up and join us as we meet new friends and share our secrets to success!
Learning Goals
This is a social club for gamers who play the World of Warcraft. This is a safe place for the Alliance and Horde to come together and discuss pre-patch for Shadowlands, Shadowlands, and all things Warcraft. This is a respectful and safe environment for newbie to veteran players. No questions and topics that involve the World of Warcraft are off the table. There will be a topic of the day dropped in the classroom on the morning of the class and this will serve as our conversation starter. Where it goes from there is completely up to our learners and their interests.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I am a veteran player and have been playing World of Warcraft for 10 years and have played multiple characters along the way. I have played not only on my own but also with my children as a way of spending time with them in a world they enjoy. This is a fantastic game for parents to enjoy with their kids (given you have multiple computers). Many adults, parents, and grandparents play this game as there are 12 million players worldwide.
