I have been an ESL / EFL teacher since 2005. I have taught various English classes online and in five countries (South Korea, Japan,Costa Rica, Chile, and Ecuador). I enjoy teaching communicative English skills to enhance students' confidence and ability to use English in daily conversations and on social media. I have a TEFL / TESOL certificate, a BA in Sociology from UCLA in Los Angeles, and a MFA (nonfiction writing) from USC in Los Angeles.

Pre-class: 1. Each student will select a news article from Engoo and email the article to me (the teacher). Student should prepare questions to ask the class during discussion time. 2. Teacher will select a news article from Engoo for discussion. Students should read the article before class in order to participate in the discussion.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
