This multi-part, high school-level, introductory class explores world history, from the Middle Ages to modern times. Part 2 will focus on the time during the Renaissance. Throughout the course, an emphasis is placed on the development of social studies skills, critical thinking skills, geography skills and the multicultural nature of society. I am a K-12 Teacher, Historian, Criminologist, and Sociologist, as well as an experienced online teacher. History is one of my specialties and personal passion, with a focus on making it accessible and understandable to kids and teens! I have studied these topics in depth and am well read on the subjects, and continue to devote time to learning about new developments, theories, and discoveries.

In this class, we will be learning about times in history that are sensitive or mature, such as racial discrimination, ethnic discrimination, enslaved labor, religious struggles, and other inequalities, sensitive or mature historical topics from World History. It is advised that such topics will be accurately discussed in a teen-friendly manner.
Various sources will be utilized in the development of the presented content, providing students with a conversant and factual explanation of historical events and phenomenon from multiple and varying perspectives.
