US Grade 1 - 5
Buckle up, grab your binoculars and get ready to travel around the world! In this self-paced class we will travel to a mystery location. By a video students will learn about different landmarks, animals, terrain, cultures and much more! After the learner has watched the video they will be able to test their knowledge and get a clue (or 2) to the mystery location by playing Blooket. After the final lesson students will gather all the clues together, unscramble the letters and post their answer to the classroom. Where in the World am I? Japan? Chile? Ireland? Madagascar? Sweden? Canada? Mexico? Italy? Belize? Barbados? Tanzania? I could be anywhere! We will be using the kid favorite, educational game Blooket to test knowledge, get Blooket coins and experience points. No Blooket account is needed. I will send a link in the classroom for each lesson. This class has 10 lessons. Each lesson is a clue to the country. Let's go!
Learning Goals
Students will learn about a new country in each lesson including natural and manmade landmarks, culture and unique animals.

Bachelor's Degree in Education from USILACS
Hello! I am very excited to begin a learning journey with your precious little one (or not so little one, in the case of teens). I have a Bachelors in Postsecondary education with a minor in American Sign Language. I was a homeschool mom for over 20 years. Both my son and daughter graduated from high school 2 years early and we are weeks away from both of them having their BA (at ages 22 and 18). I feel like I have mastered the art of teaching based on the child and their interests. I started teaching my children ASL at birth. My son and my daughter are both sign language interpreters and sign language teachers.
I love teaching and I love learning. I am an avid swimmer. I have been certified as a swim instructor and a personal trainer. I have been teaching online since 2018. I absolutely love seeing children learn and grow. In our classroom we have no stress or negativity. I feel positive reassurance provides the best learning environment. We have lots of fun! See you in the classroom!
Love, Teacher Pam
