This World Geography Class will be built around the five themes of geography: location, place, region, human-environment interaction, and movement. This course will give students a foundation for understanding global issues in the context of physical and human geography. Multiple viewpoints are used throughout the class. **This class does NOT meet live.**
Learning Goals
Students will improve their understanding of the five themes of geography (location, place, region, human-environment interaction, and movement).
Students will develop skills to read and interpret different types of maps, including political, physical, and thematic maps.
