In this one-time class, students will explore all twelve South American countries (and French Guiana) through mapping! Using a blank map we will map human and physical geography features such as cities, landmarks, mountain ranges, and more.

Description
Class Experience
Students will be able to colour and create a map of South America including important human and physical features such as capital cities, important landmarks, and large landforms.
I am an Ontario Certified Teacher qualified Geography teacher. I have experience teaching both human and physical geography, as well as an in-depth knowledge of world geography as a personal interest of mine.
Students will finish labelling their map in class, but they will likely not finish colouring their maps (depending on each student's colouring speed). The only homework will be to finish colouring their maps if necessary.
1 file available upon enrollmentStudents will need to print the blank map template and bring it to class, as well as the following supplies: 13 different coloured pencils, 1 pencil, 1 black pen.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
